Morocco's Foreign Ministry lists the nationalities exempt from an entry visa — including the US, the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Canada, Australia, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Russia and China — and its official eVisa portal (acces-maroc.ma) is open to citizens of a listed group of other countries, such as India, Thailand and Vietnam. The UK Foreign Office says the dirham is a closed, non-convertible currency that cannot easily be exchanged outside Morocco.

Passport validity: The UK Foreign Office says your passport must have an expiry date at least 3 months after the date you arrive in Morocco, and that the Moroccan authorities have refused entry to some travellers with damaged passports.
Travel insurance: The eVisa portal's terms say eVisa holders must be able to show, on arrival, hospital and medical repatriation insurance covering their stay. No official source we could read states an insurance requirement for visa-exempt visitors.
Return or onward ticket: The eVisa portal's terms say eVisa holders must be able to show a return ticket at the border on arrival. No official source we could read states a ticket requirement for visa-exempt visitors.
Vaccinations: The UK Foreign Office says that if you arrive from a polio-affected country, you must have a certificate proving you have had a polio vaccine.
