Palestinian Territories

• Max stay · 90 days

Israel's Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) says citizens of countries with a visa exemption agreement with Israel who come to the Judea and Samaria Area only to visit are not, as a rule, required to apply in advance, and may submit their permit application on arrival at the Allenby Bridge Crossing.

Passport validity

The UK government says the Israeli authorities control entry to Palestine, and that to enter Israel or Palestine your passport must have an expiry date at least 90 days after the date you arrive. Israel's Population and Immigration Authority says that for an ETA-IL your passport must be valid for at least three months from the date of your arrival in Israel.

Travel insurance

No official source we could read states an insurance requirement for visa-exempt visitors entering through Israel on an ETA-IL. Israel's Population and Immigration Authority lists, for the eVisa-B2 tourist visa, health insurance valid for the entire period of the visit in Israel.

Return or onward ticket

Israel's Population and Immigration Authority lists round-trip tickets to Israel among the required documents for the eVisa-B2 tourist visa. No official source we could read states a return-ticket requirement for visa-exempt visitors on an ETA-IL; the UK government says you may experience lengthy personal questioning and baggage searches when you enter and leave Israel.
