Privacy Policy Cookie Policy Terms of Service Data Sources and Verification

1. Introduction

These Terms govern use of the UnitedItalians platform, an informational and collaborative service. The Service is not a public authority, official register, emergency service or professional adviser.

2. Definitions

UnitedItalians means the project and Service; Service means the available functions; User means a person using them; Account means a personal account; Organisation means a subject described on the platform; Listing means a directory page; Requester submits a request; Technical manager uses authorised functions; Claim means a management request; Collaboration means technical participation; Proof means supporting material; Content includes text, data, files and media; Report means a communication about content or a function.

3. Scope of the Service

The Service may include public content, accounts, directory records, management requests, technical claims, collaborations, supporting material, articles, reports and rights requests, only within the functions actually available.

4. Acceptance of the Terms

Use of the Service implies acceptance of the applicable Terms. Registration requires express acceptance where the flow supports it. Future versions apply according to communication and their effective date; persistent versioned acceptance requires a separate technical foundation.

5. Age Requirement

Registration is intended for people aged at least 16 and relies on self-declaration. No date of birth, document or persisted parental consent is requested for this purpose; legal suitability remains subject to validation.

6. Registration and Accounts

Accounts use an email, password and available settings. Users must provide information accurately so far as reasonably known, keep necessary details current and must not transfer or improperly share credentials. Email verification, recovery, email change and deletion follow available workflows.

7. Account Security

Users must protect credentials and promptly notify info@uniteditalians.com of suspected access. Responsibility is assessed proportionately and does not assume that every unauthorised access resulted from the User.

8. Information Provided by Users

Information must be relevant, lawful and proportionate to the request. An Account reference country is a private geographical preference: it is not citizenship, nationality, residence, domicile, verified location or legal status.

9. Permitted Use

Permitted use includes consulting content, using the directory responsibly, registration, update requests, technical claims, collaborations, proof submissions, reports and exercising rights, within available functions and applicable law.

10. Prohibited Use

Prohibited conduct includes impersonation, intentional false statements, bad-faith requests, unauthorised access, tampering, form abuse, spam, malware, abusive or unauthorised automated scraping, infringement of third-party rights, unnecessary personal data, unlawful or confidential material and bypassing security limits. Lawful and proportionate automation of available functions is not prohibited.

11. Directory and Organisation Records

The directory is governed and is not an official register or certification. Information comes from available sources and contributions subject to review. Publication is discretionary and a Listing may be updated, limited or removed under Data Sources and Verification and Directory Governance.

12. Management Requests and Claims

A management request or Claim does not automatically prove identity, representation, ownership, authorisation or an official relationship. An outcome grants, where applicable, only technical platform functions and no legal status.

13. Technical Management Access

Access to manage a Listing is a limited technical authorisation for specified functions. It may be granted, limited, revoked or reassigned after proportionate checks and is not a decision about the reality or title of the described subject.

14. Requester Responsibility

A Requester acts in good faith, uses available information with reasonable accuracy, confirms authority to submit material or data and does not impersonate others. This statement does not remove UnitedItalians responsibilities.

15. Invitations and Collaborations

Invitations and Collaborations concern technical or collaborative roles and do not create employment, a mandate, agency or legal partnership. Participation is voluntary; an invitation may be declined, revoked or limited and contributions may be moderated.

16. Proof and Supporting Materials

Proof must be relevant and submitted by someone with the necessary rights. Do not send excessive data or identity documents unless specifically and proportionately necessary. Where provided, storage is private and review is manual; material may be refused or removed and is not a final certification.

17. User Content and Contributions

The original rights remain with the author or right-holder. The Service receives only a non-exclusive, purpose-limited licence needed to store, process, display, translate and distribute Content within the Service; it is revocable within applicable technical and legal limits and does not transfer ownership.

18. Editorial Content

Editorial content is published by the controller or authorised collaborators and is subject to reasonable review. It may contain errors, be updated or removed and is not professional advice. Editorial Policy also applies.

19. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence tools may support writing, review, correction and translation. Final control remains human and these tools are not used to make automated decisions about Users. AI Transparency also applies; AI has no contractual autonomy.

20. Sources, Accuracy and Updates

Sources and verification dates, where available, are governed by Data Sources and Verification. Information, contacts and hours may change; urgent information should be checked with the original institutional source.

21. Reports, Corrections and Removals

Reports may request correction, removal, privacy protection, impersonation review, source review or resolution of competing content. UnitedItalians may ask for clarification, modify, limit, suspend, archive, withdraw from publication or remove content after proportionate assessment.

22. Disputes and Competing Requests

Competing requests and disputes are manually assessed using available information. The outcome may be no action, modification, limitation, revocation of technical access, reassignment, withdrawal or archiving. The Service does not make a final ownership finding or a judicial decision.

23. Suspension and Feature Restrictions

For Terms violations, security, abuse, impersonation, legal or privacy risk, a substantiated request or legal duty, UnitedItalians may limit features, suspend an Account, revoke technical access, withdraw Content or close an Account. Where reasonable it communicates reasons and contact channels; urgent risk may require immediate action.

24. Account Closure or Deletion

Self-service deletion uses a password and confirmation phrase and follows the available anonymisation or deletion workflow. Some data may be retained for obligations, legal hold, audit, security or rights defence; instant deletion of every item is not promised.

25. UnitedItalians Intellectual Property

Software, design, brand and editorial content are protected to the extent of applicable rights. Public data, third-party content and User contributions remain subject to their respective rights; UnitedItalians does not claim exclusive rights in what it does not own. Personal and informational use is allowed unless law or another authorisation says otherwise.

26. Rights in Submitted Content

A contributor keeps the rights they hold and must be entitled to share the Content. The operational permissions are the limited licence described above; no general or perpetual transfer of rights is required.

27. Licence Required to Operate the Service

The operational licence covers only technical and editorial operations needed for the Service, including storage, security, moderation, display, translation and distribution through its functions. It does not permit unrelated uses.

28. Third-Party Links and Services

Third-party links and services have their own terms and notices. A link is not approval or certification and UnitedItalians does not control later changes by a third party; mandatory rights remain unaffected.

29. Service Availability

The Service is provided according to availability. Maintenance, updates, security events, faults or interruptions may limit access; uninterrupted continuity is not guaranteed, subject to mandatory rights.

30. Platform Changes

UnitedItalians may add, change, limit or remove functions for security, law, maintenance or project development. Material Terms changes follow the version and communication section.

31. No Professional Advice

Directory records, articles, sources, contacts and tools are informational and technical. They do not replace legal, tax, medical, financial, professional or emergency advice.

32. Liability and Limitations

Liability is governed within the limits allowed by law. Liability for intent or gross negligence is not excluded where exclusion is not allowed, and mandatory rights are not waived. Assessment distinguishes informational content, third-party sources, User conduct and technical issues; this draft invents no financial cap.

33. Indemnity, where applicable

This draft does not activate an unlimited indemnity. Any future obligation must be limited to intentional or attributable violations, Content submitted without rights, impersonation or legal violations and must receive legal validation.

34. Force Majeure

A party is not responsible to the extent an unforeseeable event outside reasonable control temporarily prevents performance, without affecting mandatory duties or reasonable steps to restore the Service.

35. Changes to the Terms

Each version should identify a version number or identifier and effective date. Material changes should be communicated by reasonable means and may require new acceptance where necessary. Versioning and persistent acceptance require a technical foundation not yet declared available.

36. Governing Law

Italian law is a proposal consistent with the controller information, but the final clause requires legal validation. Mandatory consumer rights, mandatory consumer forum rules and applicable international rules are preserved.

37. Dispute Resolution

A dispute should first be raised with UnitedItalians for direct and amicable discussion. This draft does not provide mandatory arbitration, an unverified active ODR process or an absolute exclusive forum; final forum or ADR wording requires legal validation.

38. Severability

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. The affected provision should be interpreted or replaced as far as permitted to preserve its purpose without reducing mandatory rights.

39. No Waiver

Failure to exercise a right or remedy is not a permanent waiver. Any waiver must be assessed in context and within applicable law.

40. Contact

The project controller identified here is Corda Alessandro Mario, a private individual, Italy. General information: info@uniteditalians.com. Privacy and rights: privacy@uniteditalians.com. This draft does not add an unconfirmed company, registered address, certified email, VAT number, public tax code, DPO or EU representative.

41. Last Updated

Version terms-v1, internal draft prepared for review. Public date and effectiveness begin only after approval, any required technical foundation and authorised publication.
