- Before
- It depends on your passport. Citizens of 38 European countries — the whole EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and the European microstates — enter visa-free for up to 30 days (90 for Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, and no more than 90 days in a calendar year) at any international road or rail crossing until December 31, 2026, and CIS citizens are visa-free under bilateral agreements. Many other nationalities (US, Canada, Japan and more) get 30 days visa-free only when flying in and out of Minsk National Airport. Everyone else needs a visa from a Belarusian embassy.
