Honduras is a party to the 1968 Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (UN Treaty Collection). Honduras's Traffic Law (Decree 205-2005, article 46) says foreigners who enter the country may drive with the valid licence they carry, subject to the principle of reciprocity and to what the international treaties and conventions ratified by Honduras establish. Canada's travel advice says a valid Canadian driver licence may be used in Honduras for up to 3 months, and the UK government says a UK photocard driving licence can be used for up to 3 months. Visa answer states the destination's general visa rule

    Before
It depends on your passport. CARICOM nationals are granted a definite entry of six months. The Foreign Ministry's list of countries whose nationals do not require visas (updated 17 July 2025) names, among others, the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, France and Italy with no period stated; Albania, Brazil and Peru for 90 days; and South Korea, Singapore and South Africa for a period not exceeding 30 days. Guatemala is listed only for holders of diplomatic or official passports and holders of a US Permanent Resident Card or a valid US, Canadian or Schengen visa. The UK government says British visitors can normally stay for 30 days. Germany and Poland are not on the list, and no official page we could read states what applies to passports that are not on it.
