Croatia

• Stay window · 180 days (rolling)

Croatia's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs says Croatia has applied the Schengen rules in full since 1 January 2023, and that third-country nationals, whether or not they need a visa, can stay in the Schengen Area up to 90 days in any 180-day period. EU nationals travel freely with a passport or ID card; nationals of the countries on the EU's visa-exempt list (Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2018/1806) need no visa (the ETIAS travel authorisation is not yet in operation), and others need a Schengen short-stay visa costing EUR 90.
