Spain's Interior Ministry says entry for stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period is governed by the Schengen Borders Code. EU nationals travel freely with a passport or ID card; nationals of the countries on the EU's visa-exempt list need no visa (the ETIAS travel authorisation is not yet in operation), and others need a Schengen short-stay visa costing EUR 90.
